Planning Work on National Incubation Center in Peshawar Commences

LMKT has begun work on planning the National Incubation Center in Peshawar. The company is currently in the process of evaluating vendors (architects, engineering firms, and construction companies) and finalizing the layout and design for the incubation facility. This project is part of the public-private partnership with ‘Ignite’ (formerly known as National ICT R&D Fund).

Dubbed as ‘Spark’, the incubation center will be one of the most advanced facility in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to support local entrepreneurs and startups.

This advanced facility will be designed and operated by LMKT in collaboration with PTCL along with partners such as Microsoft, IBM and Founder Institute. Each year, around twenty-five applicants will be selected through a transparent process and will be equipped with the requisite technical, financial and professional resources to further their entrepreneurial ambitions. LMKT’s mentors and its network of experts will leverage their experience to help aspiring entrepreneurs of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa convert their ideas into tangible businesses.

LMKT firmly believes in the power and importance of youth to bring about tangible socio-economic changes in Pakistan. Atif Rais Khan, Chairman and CEO LMKT, stated “We look forward to igniting the entrepreneurial spirit in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa – a region with unlimited talent and potential.”
