LMKT Invests in Solar Technology Start-up

LMKT is pleased to announce that it has closed a seed investment round with Step Robotics. The investment is in line with LMKT’s commitment and focus towards clean energy and a collective vision for a Solar Pakistan.

Step Robotics is an emerging enterprise that offers the first truly automated solar marketplace that increases the installer sales potential while reducing the cost of a solar electrical system. The company offers an application as well as a lens that can capture images to calculate shading impact on the output of the solar energy system. The site analysis tool improves the accuracy and speed of on-site measurement of the indigenous solar resource.

Pakistan is a country that is recognized as having enormous untapped renewable energy potential. LMKT’s partnership with Step Robotics will not only contribute towards the solar industry of Pakistan but also result in innovations with significant commercial potential at a global level.
