LMKT has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with OOREDOO; a Qatari shareholding company to fuel the future of tech startups through TASMU Accelerator.

TASMU is an innovative global acceleration program that focuses on smart city development through tech-based startups in Transportation, Logistics, Health, Environment and Sports. The program aims to inspire Qatar national and international startups to nurture innovation in these sectors and empower a new wave of smart startups.

LMKT and OOREDOO share the vision of harnessing the power of technology and innovation to match needs of the ever-evolving market. As LMKT operates three incubation centers in Pakistan, it will introduce and refer startups to TASMU in a collective effort to boost the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Pakistan and Qatar. Moreover, both the parties will nominate mentors and experts to speak at community meetups. The two organizations will share their resources to create an impact on the entrepreneurial society.

Speaking about the collaboration, CEO LMKT Atif Rais Khan remarked,
At LMKT, we try to fuel the future by enabling tech start-ups that have the potential to change the world. Our young innovators can transform the future of healthcare, environmental and logistics sectors so we are happy to collaborate with OOREDOO and hope to provide tools and resources that will enable TAMSU’s startups to thrive and enrich the lives of Qatar’s citizens.

TASMU has launched their first cohort and will empower 20 startups through a period of six months. LMKT will share its industry, business and technology expertise with TASMU startups and will help them build solutions for tomorrow.
