The management wanted to find a practical solution for parking management and locating stores in its 3.4 million sq. ft. retail space.

Already having a working relationship with LuckyOne, LMKT proposed a comprehensive and user-friendly app to meet the management’s ambitions and address the usual concerns of shoppers. The app has turned out to be immensely beneficial for LuckyOne Mall, its retailers, and the customers.

The rapid growth of shopping malls and online stores in Pakistan has opened up a new world of possibilities for customers as well as retailers. LuckyOne Mall is Pakistan’s largest shopping mall offering a premium high-street retail experience to the residents of Karachi. It is home to hundreds of flagship stores, a mega food court and a world-class family entertainment center. LuckyOne was in search of an innovative solution that offers a personalized and convenient shopping experience for its customers. Furthermore, the management was also looking for a feature that helps customers conveniently locate their vehicles in a massive parking lot with 3,000 bays.

Solution

LMKT was selected to develop the LuckyOne Mall App for the retail giant. LMKT had already been engaged by LuckyOne to deploy a comprehensive GPON solution at the mega mall. As a result, LMKT was well-versed with the various aspects of the mall and the ambitions of the management. Various surveys including user experience tests were carried out by our experts to create a simple and seamless mobile application. The LuckyOne mobile app is a dynamic, easy to use application that maximizes the shopping experience using interactive maps that allow customers to mark their location, access promotional offers, navigate to their favorite stores, and pinpoint their parking spots. Furthermore, the app also comes with handy features such as parking assistance, access to store directory, and the option to book a ride through Careem. The LuckyOne app is available on both Apple and Android devices.

Since its launch, the LuckyOne mall app has been downloaded close to 6,000 times and ranks highly on the Google Play Store. Furthermore, a 4.6/5 rating validates the utility and convenience of the app among users.

Parking assistance and mall maps

The built-in navigation features of mall maps and store finder allow consumers to navigate effortlessly within the mall and determine the most efficient route from their relevant parking spots to their preferred stores. Consumers no longer have to worry about remembering where they parked their car allowing them to mark their parking locations manually or by scanning the QR codes available in the parking lots through the application.

Complete access to mall information

The app offers a comprehensive store directory with the option of marking favourite stores and conveniently searching for outlets in desired retail categories. The app also pushes the latest promotions and offers to the users’ phones in the form of smart notifications. Some of the other useful features of the app include clothing and shoe sizing charts for men and women, a currency converter and a discount calculator.

The app also provides information on the opening and closing hours, contact numbers of individual stores, and fastest routes within the mall and towards the exits. Furthermore, users can also locate and book kid carts and wheel chairs, keep track of the lost and found inventory as well as save their valet parking details through application.

A stream of revenue generation

LuckyOne retailers need to purchase ad space on the app to have their promotions featured. This results in an ancillary stream of revenue and an opportunity for brands to attract more eyeballs on their brand and promotional content. Promotional deals result in additional customer footfall and increased overall revenue for both LuckyOne and its retailers.

LuckyOne has succeeded in personalizing the shopping experience for its customers by taking the retail experience directly to them. Retailers can use the app as an interface to build loyalty and trust with their customers.
